Re: Qualifications for a Virgin Bass Drum
"Virgin" usually means the drum was never drilled for a tom mount. I don't see one. Even with a cymbal holder on the side there it still counts as a virgin.

I'm thinking she has lost her virginity, any extra holes, tom mount, cymbal mount.

Re: Qualifications for a Virgin Bass Drum
A quite valid question. I'm not 100% positive what qualifies as virgin and had reservations about listing it as such. I had a sneaking suspicion this would start an argument in the pub.
I'd love to hang onto it and find the 12" (which should be easy enough) and the 14" (good one!). I'm nearing 50 and am a realist : not a good combination. |

Re: Qualifications for a Virgin Bass Drum
As another realist, I consider the asking price as unrealistic as it is posted in the current listing.

Re: Qualifications for a Virgin Bass Drum
Your question makes me wonder what kind of freak would have sex with a bass drum anyway? And, what exactly would that look like? I'm thinking a small KickPort and lubrication?

Re: Qualifications for a Virgin Bass Drum
My personal definition would be a bass drum that has only been drilled for spurs (which are a necessity) but no other mounts or extra holes of any kind....but that's just me.
