Default Kudos to johnnyringo!

Greetings,

I just wanted to give a Bohnam sized bass drum "Thank You" to our very own and favorite drumkit trading member johnnyringo (Mark).

There was a kit I was looking at on Reverb that was local pick up only in San Antonio. I asked if he would be willing to pick up the drums, pack and ship for me (before I purchased them). He said he would. He picked them up and delivered them to Fedex, where Fedex packed them for me (at a surprisingly very reasonable rate). Mark was great about it and was great at communicating with me during the process, all while charging me a modest fee for his time and gas.

Thanks again buddy! May you come across many good trades as a result of your good karma of helping out a fellow forum member!

Here are the drums he picked up for me. Gretsch Catalina Club 12/14/18/14 SD in Bronze Sparkle. Looking good!

You're welcome!
I have a little story too, the owner here in town asked me to go to his wife's work to pick up the kit. She works for Americus Diamond. I thought it was kind of odd, with him not knowing me from Adam. Well, when I got there I called her I was outside, she not only came out with a co-worker, but was accompanied by a large police officer packing a large hand gun. That's certainly the best way to protect yourself from a potential nut job.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
