Default Picked up some rare Italian 12" Cymbals

Here's a couple of nice UFIPs that I've just added to my collection of cymbals between 11 and 12 inches. I'm starting to accumulate a little collection of Ajahas, Super Zyns and all sorts of UFIP. These are mostly eBay finds.
Any info on the one marked Constantinople would be great! I'm pretty sure it's a type of ersatz Zildjian made by Zanchi???
Cheers

This one is a Smyrne which also has the UFIP Pyramid stamp which is nice.

Some more here including one stamped Premier which is bronze and not nickel silver. Paper thin.

Now that is something to collect. Sorry no info but these little pies are magic, I share the fascination. Now all you need is that weird awesome band where you can hang and play all of em!

Those are marketed as "Zveltian", and are a UFIP stencil brand. This is the one that I've dubbed the ersatz K. They seem to turn up almost exclusively in Europe.

Thanks for the info. They do sound quite nice. They're heavy 12" cymbals. I have a lighter Ajaha 12" that I've paired with that one for mini hats.

I bought them from France for 25 Euro dollars each. I had to have them. They look amazing! For such small cymbals they produce an amazing "chick-chick"

Sorry for the delay. Here is said Premier Cymbal. Look at that for a rare trademark. Holy crap you say. Well, that's what I said when I saw it. I'm guessing 1920's. It's quite literally paper thin.

Hi everyone

Thought I'd share my marching band hihats on here. From Smyrne too. Like yours Chromeo, they had leather lanyards and I found them in a car boot sale in France (you can still see the marks the leather has left on the cymbals as it was probably stored flat on top of each other, somewhere for years...). I find it rather funny to know it's italian yet has the name of a turkish city. Anyhow, I got rid of the lanyards so I could put them on a hihat stand. They sound great! Thinking of getting rid of the 'eyes' at the center of the cymbals, just to gain in comfort and accuracy on the stand/tilter.
You can hear those on here:
