Never saw a Slingerland kit with this wrap but one of our members posted a similar one from a Rogers snare
http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/atta...chmentid=29675

Three on the floor has a Rogers kit with the wrap

~1959 era from Rogers

Hey Vin, I researched a bit. Cannot find anything about Slingerland offering a "Tartan" wrap. Only Rogers with their "Scottie Plaid".

Hey Vin, I think I see some Badge deformities.
I think someone carefully removed the badges but did not crimp them on the inner shell.
I believe it is....."A Re-wrap".

I was looking at these the other day and agree that it looked like a re-wrap. Fun wrap though!

I had a thought....... "that's dangerous"
Perhaps these were used by the Bay City Rollers.
But no, Most pics of their drums show "no plaid".

Why would -anybody- have plaid drums? Were the Bay City Rollers Scottish?
