Question Vintage Gretsch Bongos identification
Hi all,

I have some bongos from my father. He believes he bought them in the mid to late 50s.

I've been trying to research the Gretsch badge, but I haven't seen this one anywhere! Sort of a rectangle with a hump on top. It is affixed to the inside with some sort of glue, not pins.

The Badge says:
FRED GRETSCH MFG CO
Musical Instrument Makers Since 1883
CHICAGO BROOKLYN

I also haven't quite matched these bongos; they have no top rim, just the skin.

Any ideas on age?
