And its not even a floor tom. Must be a perspective issue but it looks deeper than the diameter to me.

found this info/feedback on this drum:
The TD 14ft is extremely rare and highly sought after. The only 14 (by itself) I recall, was a near mint rosewood that went for 800. So, my best guess is 400-800...

So perhaps not way-way overpriced after all

Again, it's not a floor tom but a rack tom so who really knows? I've never seen a 14" teardrop rack tom.

it was probably a floor to start with and converted to a rack....a large rack at that
