Default DW/CAMCO/Santa Monica

Looks like DW will be coming out next year with their take on the Camco LA drums. Much research into shell materials; ply lay up; bearing edge profile. Calling it the Santa Monica series after their original location.

Interesting. Probably nice and expensive.
I don't understand how companies can come out with reproductions of vintage drums and sell them for high prices but when you try to sell a nice original everyone beats you down on the price because the market is down. I guess it could be the age group buying them.

Buy an 80's DW with the Camco Keller shells and the ''A Quality Instrument'' badge and you are closer to the original then these I think.

Or spend the same amount on real LA Camco's if you like the vintage build more.
