Tossing this one up again - Makes a killer gigging kit!

$850 (gift paypal) + shipping. Plenty of pictures available.

1965 Rogers center lug model DELTA drum kit. All the drums are labeled TOWER on the interiors. This auction is for the 3 drums. The snare stand is not included and there is no The drums are clean with no cracks or splits in the wrap. However their are a couple of modifications.

12" : The 12" tom is super clean with very nice hardware. The interior and bearing edges are excellent. The drum has an earlier (leedy?) muffler installed.

14" : The 14" is also clean - interiors are nice with excellent bearing edges. When we received this drum, it had replacement legs and leg mounts. The previous owner widened the mounting holes for the sta-tite leg mounts... a lot! So after taking off the after market hardware, knobby mounts were installed. The holes on 2 of the 3 mounts are still visible beyond the plate from the exterior. Also the knobby mounts are slightly rusty, and one of the pins for the face plate is jammed. However the mounts work fine and the legs can be adjusted. This drum also has an aftermarket muffler installed.

20" : The bass drum is in great condition - No issues - clean wrap, some wear on the hoops but no modifications. Interiors are very nice.

Why can't people leave well enough alone? I guess I don't get the need to modify. You either like it or you don't. If not don't buy it to begin with.

Lovely kit though.

Well, you buy it new in the 60s and then new hardware comes out and you think it works better, so you install it. It's understandable, I think.

And didn't a lot of drum shops install the bass drum hardware at the store? Like if you bought a Ludwig kit and wanted the Rogers Swiv- didn't they install it at the shop instead of factory?

I guess since everything mainstream was still American made people could play mechanic with their gear!
