Rogers Weekend Find
Little something I picked up this weekend.
Cleveland Tower 12-14-20 with Tower snare. Believe this to be a Delta setup with an upgraded Tower snare instead of the standard Luxor snare. The (loudest) Silver sparkle wrap is in EXCELLENT condition. |

Re: Rogers Weekend Find
Very nice score. They probably sound as good as they look.

Re: Rogers Weekend Find
I had a kit like yours, but mine had a 16" floor tom. I remember how uncomfortable it was to play using the tom and cymbal mounts.

Re: Rogers Weekend Find
I would expect no other type of comment about Rogers mounting hardware from Changeable Charlie. For many Rogers aficionados that Swivomatic hardware continues to be state of the art drum hardware.

Re: Rogers Weekend Find
I didn't say it didn't work properly, I said it was uncomfortable. The tom mount is far over to the left from behind the kit on those Tower kits and the cymbal mount just took a straight arm, I used a 20" ride and I couldn't get it close enough for my taste. Like many drummers, everything has to be in a certain position, the kit wasn't unplayable, it just wasn't comfortable for me if I used the mounts.
