Default 1981 Gretsch Custom "Drop G" Badge 5.5"x8" off-set lugs (Rosewood)

Gretsch Custom 5.5"x8" Rosewood Tom with off-set lugs! This drum is from a 6pc. set I picked up with the "Drop G" badges which I think are the coolest Gretsch badges ever made! (other than the 100th Anniversary badges).

The drums are in super condition! The kit was originally ordered with a 5.5x8, 6.5x10, 9x13, 16x16, 14x24, 6.5x14 20 lug snare all in a really nice cherry looking Rosewood finish as opposed to some that I have seen that are more on the wine red side.

USA - Jasper Shells

Very cool.

I have been looking for a similar drum in Burnt Orange for years. Found one on ebay once and set up a snipe bid through a sniping site. The next morning the drum sold for quite a bit less than my final bid. Turned out that the sniping site hadn't accounted for a time change due to DST and tried to place my bid an hour too late. Doh! Haven't seen a similar one since although my need for such a drum is much less now.
