That was some melting pot they had going. JD Souther used to write stuff with Henley and Frey, I'm sure they learned a ton from the Master. Throw Jackson Browne, a monster of a writer himself, into the mix and you get all those great tunes from the 70's/early 80's that we still listen to on the radio under the guise of Classic Rock.
That was a clutch of truly gifted music writers, the likes of which will not be seen again. John

would really love to see this program. i don't have showtime. i have heard alot about it and it just makes me want to see it that much more. The Eagles are my all time #1 favorite band. i like a lot of bands but these guys have moved me in so many ways with their music. love them.
