I'm in Canada so shipping could kill the whole deal. I have full set of casings, one side BD rods and claws, the rail mount, BD spur mounts and spurs, all chrome. No rods other than BD. No hoops.

Pics show assembled kit before carpet adhesive. I'll post a pic of the shells now only if you're interested. This would be some work and like I say shipping will likely stink, but we'd be looking at around 100 Canadian dollars for the three shells, cleaned up, and that's only 75 American dollars right now, with hardware at $5.00 or less CDN per unit [rods and claws are individual units].......I dunno!

Mitch
How much exactly do you want for this kit? I'd like to see pictures of how they look with the carpet adhesive.

Thanks for considering parting with your Club Dates, Mitch! I'm not quite sure what the math works out for the shells, hardware, and shipping. It looks like someone (previous owner?) installed some modern floor tom brackets as well (ouch).

No that was me I put Gretsch Techware leg brackets on there for greater stability. The Gretsch brackets are sold so I'll be plugging and re-drilling for originals, which I have. I'll pretty much definitely be parting with these shells one way or the other - the plan was to clean em up and do it local and cheap, but it sounded like maybe you wanted just such shells.

Johnny, there is no kit really, it's all shells and parts. As for how the shells look, just picture 60s Ludwig mahogany shells with snot all over them

Mitch

I'll take the shells as they are, and all the hardware, if you still have them. I can't resist...

Okay that's great esp since you are local! We'll make it happen...

Sorry for the side-deal in your thread Murph, but I did offer em to you first, so no harm no foul?

Oh no, absolutely ALL GOOD, and I am glad GAR wants to scoop them up! I have been somewhat overwhelmed with all the great offers and a number of leads outside the VDF. Naturally all of this is timed perfectly with hell breaking loose at the jay-oh-bee, so I've been even more distracted than usual. Thanks to everyone who has chimed in on the thread and it's cool to see all these neat old drums in various stages of original, restored, and everything in between!

Ding! I swear we're all just the best guys ever! This is definitely better for all parties - shipping from Canada would have killed all the good cheapness. Best of luck murph with the jay-oh-bee and the search - I know you'll find what you're looking for...
