If this is true, then it's news to me. Cordia was on the original Artstar line, 1983-1986 here in the US. There was also a wood finish for a short while offered on the Royalstars, can't recall the name.

AFAIK, 70s 'catalogued' imperialstars were only and always wrapped drums, with zolacoat on the interiors. There is a very very early exception where some imperialstars were clear-finished on the **inside only**, but their provenance is hard to verify.

Hi John,

I first saw one if these TAMA Imperialstar Cordia drums at a friend's house. He bought them new back in the day for his daughter and it was pretty thrashed by the time I saw it. Even so, I liked the Cordia look and did some investigating since I wasn't previously aware of them. I have seen them come up from time to time on eBay.
