Hi All
i wondered if youanyone could possibly help me with the following; i have a Ludwig Supraphonic snare , serial number 580013 which prom the ludwig website tells me this is circa 1968. Inside the drum itself is a "Ventrasonic accoustic chamber" which is a plastic vent that channels all the air down onto the snares when the batter is hit. has anyone come across this before and if they have , is this a rare item? i'm goping to post some pics when i get chance, but any help in the meantime would be appreciated Mike Smith England - UK |

Check this out...
http://www.patentgenius.com/patent/4037508.html This is most likely an added "piece" installed into the drum as I'm "thinking" Ludwig never installed these in their snares. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. |
