Default Finally Finished Premier '58

I bought this 1964 Premier '58 from the original owner last year. It was in decent shape and had nearly all of its original hardware and accessories aside from the snare stand (got inadvertently swapped with another drummer's Lokfast stand at a gig), the non Premier cowbell (he lost it but the mount is original) and the replacement FT rubber feet.

It has been stripped and thoroughly cleaned and polished and is probably as close to a new one as you could hope for. I will put a new BD batter on though.

The '58 consists of 20" bass drum, 12" (pre-int) tom, 14" floor and 4x14 Royal Ace.

Very pretty Andrew. What did you use on the wrap?

And what are those hats and ride? I presume 602 on the ride, but it looks like it has the model ink intact. A THIN? The hats look 602 Sound Edge. More details please.

Thanks everyone. They are a credit to the original owner who used them extensively over the years but kept them in good shape.

J!m - They sound good but I need to spend more time with them to get the best out of them. I'll get onto that soon. It's taken me months to get them to this point but I'm feeling like I'm on a bit of a roll now

Steve - The ride is a 20" 602 Thin that I picked up last year. The hats are an odd pair of Zildjian A 12". The top is a 70s Canadian and the bottom is a 30s? US armed forces issued cymbal. I bought them from Bruce King when he was selling off Tony Hopkin's gear after he sadly passed. I use them for low volume gigs.

I used the trusty Novus No.2 polish with the occasional No.3 for the very few deeper scratches I encountered.
