Trying to find out what drum series this Ludwig is.

Thanks for the opinions! I'm really looking forward to play on it. Just won't be able to really get to hear it until my next rehearsal with the band. Got to tap on them and they sound good so far.

It's going to be even funnier though when I bring that kit in.. It'll be another set the rest of the band hasn't seen yet. But I think they lose track. I own over 109 kits and it gets kind of fun to see their reactions at times with some of the stuff I bring in there.

Are you married? If so, can I get some advice on how to keep more drumsets?

Yes. First off, don't get married. I'm 40 years old and was married at one time. She wanted a divorce and was interested in taking at least half of my collection.. That wasn't going to happen. She'd come to the shows I'd play and complain. Hated when I went on tour (which wasn't for very long). If the partner you are with can't take you for what you have in your life, then it's not worth it. Drums are my life. Luckily, I have a long time girlfriend who not only understands vintage drums and likes them almost the same way as I do, But she excepts me for who I am and what I do for a living. (Which is play music)

Note: I'm not relying on her in any shape form or fashion financially.

Now keep in mind, If you are already married please don't let me stir things up between you and your wife. If you are happy with her. Then by all means just win the lotto or something so she won't mind it as much you buying more drums. :)

I hope this helps you at least a little. How old are you if you don't mind me asking

I'm 41. My wife is sweet. She met me at a show I was playing 20 years ago. She knows the drill, I just have to be reasonable. 109 drum sets would still be very trying for her, though. No matter what I buy, I think my out will be "Hey, at least I don't have 109 drum sets!" You the man AD!

Thanks bro!

Glad to know I'll now be your scape goat for talking the misses into getting another kit.

Best of luck with that and I'd love to hear about her reaction!

It sounds like you guys have a pretty stable relationship. (Which is great!)

If she knows the drill and such then she shouldn't mind... And you are right... 109 kits might be a little much for here to get her head around..

The Ex wife and the girlfriend I've been with knew about the kits before.. But as for the ones I keep buying.. It confused the Ex... But the girlfriend gets the idea. I know I got a real keeper when my own girlfriend and I can talk about vintage kits and her not get bored. If anything, she even taught me something.. Made me really proud of her too.x-mas3
