Default WFL v Ludwig Club Date hardware

Hopefully some WFL/Lidwig experts can help me with this one. I've been looking to replace some hardware on a 60s Ludwig Club Date that I picked up. One of the pieces I was looking at was replacing the floor tom bracket mount because it is too rusted to get the floor tom leg through (after soaking/trying to clean). Does anyone know if the WFL spring loaded mounts have the same drill spacing as the Ludwig counterparts? I know Ludwig/WFL hardware was interchangeable during transition years for certain hardware, not sure that applied to the floor tom brackets.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm pretty sure it is. I think once Ludwig stopped using those mounts on top of the line sets(1960-61) it made sense to just put them on the club date series. It does seem odd to me though as I would have thought in the long run that adding regular classic brackets and doing away with the spring loaded ones would have made more economical sense.

My 1971 mod orange clubdate has spring loaded legs BTW.

Each one that I have worked with have had the same dimensions from WFL all the way up to the block logo models from the 70's.

Thanks everyone! Just wanted to make sure before I pulled the trigger on some WFL hardware.

Maybe their purpose on the club dates was more for differentiation from the classic line than for lower cost.

tama1310707, would it be possible to get a round file in there to file that rust away, and open up the hole?
