Have a couple Leedy Ludwig...but not Leedy specifically. The New Era was purchased off of eBay, and the other from poppies. Both sport a 5410 stamp. The New Era is what it turned out like after the detail. There is some fade, but the lighting hides it in the photo.

I have downsized the size of my drum collection as we downsize our lives in our downsized retirement cottage. I have kept a 1963 Leedy Shelly Manne Black Diamond Pearl drum set (9x13, 16x16, 14x20, matching Shelly Manne 5x14 snare). I've also kept a 1958 or 1959 Pink Glass Glitter Shelly Manne 5x14 snare. I'm not parting with set of rescued orphans that I rewrapped in 3D White Moire (pre-World War Two Leedy 7x11, early 1950's Leedy 12x16 marching tenor drum conversion to floor tom, 1960's Slingerland 16x18 floor tom conversion to bass drum with Leedy lugs). After I had completed that little bop drum set, I came across a snare that was destined to be with this set. It's a Camco 5x14 Tuxedo snare with its original 3D White Moire wrap.

1962 Leedy 14x18/14x14/8x12. This set came to me wearing a cheap green wrap and when removed I discovered the walnut veneer beneath. Bass drum hoops are non-original solid maple. I had the veneer cleaned up by a furniture restoration specialist and plan to keep them in this state as a salute to their history. I'll always wonder what wrap they originally wore!
