eBay item #282801019141, says it's brass, but shell looks like it has the acne that the alloy shells get. And that "B" on the inside of the shell, shouldn't it be stamped instead of written with a crayon or whatever?
What do y'all think? ![]()

That is Ludalloy...aluminum. There were some brass models with the red felt mufflers. But, the inner lip on the bearing edge comes out instead of rolling back into the shell on this Ebay drum. You can also look at the pitting on the shell and know that it is not brass. Seller's drum has brass hoops that would be expected on that drum.

Looks like the seller took down the "brass" claim, although still points out the "B" inscribed in the shell.
