The 18" Zildjian medium crash, the splash and the hi-hats are worth something, should be an easy sell. The Paiste/Ludwig has some demand, but they are not great cymbals....more of a collectors piece, but not much value. The Amir is worthless.....it was a horrible sounding entry level/budget cymbal when it was introduced in the 80's.....pretty much worth whatever its weight in scrap metal is.

Ok, Cool! So, any recommendations? Sell? How much should I be looking at listing them for? Where do I list them? To Sell high hats (I'm assuming those are the 2 over top of eachother on/with stand? Include stand? Is that the one stand ludwig dude said was pieced together crap ? Or that one is ok..? I'm so sorry, I know absolutely Nothing about this world. All new to me, I'm trying to learn, but don't even want to try n pretend that I'm not an idiot. It's all So confusing... I'm so detail oriented I'm driving myself crazyi still trying to figure out how to go about unloading all these. Strip for parts? Clean n shine hardware or leave it alone for increased value? So many variables.. all besides the bass drum ludwig dude said was good, which I'm thinking of restoring myself for fun,
saw a ludwig set from 60s with same diamond mount for toms?.., and saw a gretsh with same turn key thingies (technical term right there...
Lol) shape along the bass drum rim, closely resembled but so do the the slingerland /leedy era lugs, hardware everything looks pretty damn close. Saw pearl with dance claws, but then there are complete sets on internet that match close as hell, which is bc enough for ...me.... anyways, Analyzing the paint underneath the ****ty vinyl cover job, some looks like a set from 30s/40s, some from 50s, sometimes looks like it's from 60s.. but then there's always knock offs out there replicating I'm sure.... uggghh... I'm ready to strangle the previous owner of this set. Had to freaking paint the insides black, make everything so much more difficult.. woulda been nice to gauge have little more info.. but oh well, thank god for you guys.. xoxixi

Yes, 22 inch zildijan.. not solid black logo either...? Does that mean it's crappy or better? Also have a very teeny tiny cymbal no indented stamp, but says zildijan.. not sure value of those either

Thanks for the additional pictures. You've confirmed what I saw in the original group photo, and added a few more.

Expected prices for your Zildjian cymbals are available on my site via my signature. For example,

22" 70s stamp hollow logo = $139 with half selling for between $122 and $167 n=15

although you are better off using the estimate for 60s of $185 with half selling for between $140 and $222 n=41 given the larger sample size the $185 is based on. I'm still working on some aspects of the 60s vs 70s price modelling, but this should do for now.

14" Hats: 1960s: Expected median price $140 with half selling for between $100 and $185 n=43

18" Crash: Expected median price around $100 with half selling for between $80 and $160 (n=51).

8" splash: $60 to $70 on a good day.

I don't know about what Ludwig Dude thinks the scrap price is for the Amir, but I can tell you it has a residual value of maybe $25-$35 based on actual sales. I suspect that Ludwig Dude is basing his pricing on "gut feel" rather than recorded sales data. In contrast, I'm a Data Dude.

Similarly, the Ludwig Paiste 3 star will have a residual value. I can't tell the diameter from the photos provided but again maybe $20-$30 on a good day. Prices for these are highly variable dependent on condition, weight, production era, and diameter. Although I've been doing pricing research on Paiste cymbal prices for over a decade I'm more of a specialist in some of their other lines.

Hope this helps.
