Default Gretsch Renown?

I'm not well versed in Gretsch drums at all...yet this 5x14 wood WMP round badge has been my go to snare for years. Bought it off ebay and picked it up from a music store in Maryland (can't even remember which one) 17 or 18 years ago. It was advertised as a 1960s Gretsch, and that's about it. It has a drum key holder (I added the drum key later), no internal mufflers, and no extra holes.

My questions are:

1. Is this a Renown?
2. What's the model #?
3. Approximately what year (I want to say early 60s based on the throw)?

I'll try to remember to get a photo of the paper tag w/serial number tonight, if that would help at all.

Yes, that's a "Renown" model. If it had the Microsensitive Throw and an internal muffler it would be the "Name Band". I believe that the throw-off and muffler were the only differences between the two (same shell, hoops, etc.).

Age could be almost anytime in the 60's. Serial number might be able to narrow it down a bit.

Awesome, thank you both. It's obviously a 4103, and now I feel like a moron since the model # is stamped on the paper tag.

Does the serial number help determine approximate age?

If it helps, the thin stick is earlier than the thick stick badge. Yours appears to have the thin stick but it`s hard to see.

Ok, I just (re)discovered the Gretsch dating guide:
I'd actually found this many months ago but never read in its entirety, then forgot about it. Here's a somewhat blurry closeup of my badge, it actually looks to me like a thick stick version, which dates the drum from late 1950s/early 1960s - 1969...which essentially tells me what I already knew: it's a 1960s Gretsch.

I agree now that I see it better. The stick and print are slightly larger(spaced) than the thin.
