Ya, great drums, great price equals zero buyers. Maybe the price is too low, maybe guys are thinking, there's got to be something wrong with that kit for that price. Maybe I should over price it like other kits being sold here. Then maybe it will sell.

Yes, great drums at a great price! The right Trixon enthusiast simply hasn't stumbled upon this listing yet. Seems most of us VDF members are either into the US "big 4" (Ludwig, Slingerland, Rogers, Gretsch) or the MIJ stencils. Not enough appreciation for Trixon, Sonor, and the other fine German stuff.

I received a call last night from a guy from Dallas, who happened to be originally from Bitburgh, Germany where these drums were made. He saw the kit on Austin cl and wants to buy them for my asking price of $550.

Can you imagine what would had happened if Ringo had appeared on Ed Sullivan with a Trixon kit? I'd be sitting on a gold mine.

... and THAT is the truth! I thought you might dig that pic as it was in color, and from a great angle!

Thanks Tommy, that's a cool picture.
I actually had second thoughts about selling this kit, but as usual, there's always another one I want more. So, between my Ludwig and Trixon, one has to be sold and I'm too much in love with the Ludwig to let her go.
