My favorite finish - Ludwig Sky Blue Pearl. Beauty!! Why is your floor tom wearing shoes?

Thanks! Haha... those are "booty shakers" ... Little foam cups that let the drum resonate longer. The floor doesn't soak up all the vibrations. They also make "little booty shakers" - versions that velcro to your snare stand for a mounted tom. Virtually no resonance loss! The name is pretty whack (be VERY careful googling "little booty shakers" LOL).... but they are awesome products.

I use them on my snare stands for toms/snare drums. They work very well! I was surprised. I haven't tried the floor tom feet yet but maybe ill give them a try soon.

Nice kit! to the world of vintage drums
