Default 1960 Trans Badge Ludwig Blue Note Questions

So I have gotten my hands on a '60 trans badge Blue Note. The dates match up, interior of the shell and the shell stamps match up to. Also, here's a link to some images of the snare as some proof.

My question is, has anyone ever heard of, seen, or owned a trans badge Blue Note before? I doubt this is one-of-a-kind, and it'd also help with getting some of the last remaining parts to get the kit in playing condition.

Blue Note is a term that Ludwig used for a particular large configuration of drums. Looks you have a Sky Blue Pearl Transition badge snare there. Do you have an entire set of drums or just this snare drum?

Yep, those were just images I had saved on my phone. The only drum I'm missing is the larger of the two bongos.

I had a complete kit one of the only ones I new of in existence the first year it officially came out I would have to look at old pics to see if they were trans badge or not

Very rare and if you have it down to cowbells it’s the real deal we love to see pics
May I ask were you bought it from the one I sold went to a guy in Texas

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

So, the good news and bad news of the Blue Note. Good news; when/where I found it, it had the cowbells, the Ludwig Standard cymbals, and also a small trove of very nice vintage cymbals (including some rolling stamp A Zildjians). Bad news; I'm a high school student, and the only things I was able to take were the drums themselves, the storage stool, and the foot pedal assembly portion of one of the Speed King pedals. I know that the rest of the hardware and cymbals are at the high school (along with a 70's Acrolite, Supraphonic, and Super Sensitive) but I can't take any of those because they're on the school district's registry. The only reason why I got the drums is because they were somehow skipped over during registration and because I was the only person who'd actually spend any time trying to work on the kit. Tomorrow morning, I'll post a picture of my current setup, which is currently a work in progress. Sorry for keeping everyone waiting.

Hell yeah Gunshaker! Killer find even without looking at the pics.

I have meant to contact my HS band director recently (I'm a year out of college, but now have two Ludwig sets) and wanted to see if I could sneak a peek at what the old drums in our percussion closet were.

The best of the kit is the canister
the hardware for center toms and the rest of hardware is important too
Any chance you can get other bongo at least the center stands

The other bongo, no-one's been able to find over the past 2ish years or so. The stands and the like are gone in the wind sadly, I'll never be able to take them. However, I was able to grab the mounting portion of the bongos, albeit in a rough condition. It was treated a bit harsher than the rest of the kit.
