And yeah, I've searched high and low on ebay and haven't found the kit in question.
The matching bdp dyna is with the 12 / 14 floor / 18 bass (not converted ft).

Ive eBay set on vacation settings but listings should b showing up. Will fix When back-

Beautiful kit.

Not a Rogers, but a evenly rare Camco in the same sizes and with snare:

As a comparison price wise (because it sold under Auction and not B.I.N.)

Learned years ago to never sell at auction. I have a general idea of overall value - but just opinions @ what they go for. Sales are extremely slim to go out on-

But they do give the most honest and up to date reference of a sale (wheres you knever know if a B. I. K. really has been sold and for what price)

I've seen more Rogers bop kits than Oaklawn Camco.

That Camco bop set ended at a very bad time, holiday weekend too. I think the seller could have done much better.

Criminy, a matching wood Dyna too? I mean, uh...that probably won't up the price much. I'll give you $100 for it.

Without seeing pics, and assuming good condition, I'd say easily $3-4k...maybe more?

@ a mpls drum shop owner said 14x18 bass = 5k. Sounds highish to me; but that's what he said (& I wasn't asking). I know a 14x14 ft = 1500-2k+. The dyna's museum condition - very close to perfect ... I'd value at 3-5k. The 12/14/18 was definitely played & isn't perfect but in great used condition. I've detailed the entire kit - simichrome, novus. Takes forever.

I can hear the cackling as I write. But I've bought & sold for years & my gut is often correct.

To read that at auction the camco sold for 4K seems insanity ... the reason I would never do an auction. Early in my career I'd do em. & id watch shizz sell for well below what the worth was.

The fact that there's little out there for Rogers jazz kits sales makes me wonder if collectors r holing on to them.

Anyhoo

Rogers 18 " bass drums and 14 " floor tom toms bring big money. Original wrap in these sizes...that set is worth $2,000 -$ 2500 depending on condition.

Update ... item #322552219978; title (in case item # changes) "Rogers Cleveland BOP Black Diamond Pearl Drum set ~ 12/14/18 + Wood Dynasonic" -

Just so you can view photos. 12k BIN is not going to happen; but I don't agree w/ valuation of 2-4k on the 12/14/18. W/ the Dyna in showroom condition that pops it up way higher.

Chris,

Just looked at that kit and Wow, a 14" FT, 18" bass and the matching wood Dyna?!!! Market value on something like this is almost impossible to determine, as how often does a kit like this surface for sale? I've watched 18" Rogers basses go for $1K-3K on eBay, with wood Dyna's selling also in that range. 14" FT's can fetch anywhere from $400-$800 depending on hitting the right buyer who's looking for that particular drum. But to have all those Holy Grail drums grouped together in one kit is something we don't see pop up often.

Good luck on the sale, and I hope you're successful finding that buyer out there who just "must-have" this particular setup. Keep us posted.

Mike
