Hey Glenn, I still have some pages to reattach images to, but I already fixed a good part of it. And yes I have some good friends here you included. I worked all last night fixing this bugger and I hope to finish the job tonight. Got my work doobies ready!

John

Ladies and Germs... The photos in this thread have all been restored. I can't say enough thank you's to GGD and to my buddy's for their support.

Next milestone will be when this bugger hits 100,000 reads! It's not far off now. Tommy P/Dave get my plaque ready!

Holy smokes! The thread went over 100,000 reads!!!!!!!!!!

Tommy/Dave - I'll expect a commemorative plaque on my desk by Monday! <jk>

That's some accomplishment. I am truly amazed there are so many people out there interested in vintage drum restoration. Blows my mind and it's humbling. I hope it helped to bring new, contributing members to my favorite forum... VDF.

Thanks all,

John

I don't "hate" you. (Or anyone.) I'm 68 not 16. I let a lot of $hit roll off my back these days. I like and respect you. That hasn't changed. It's the reason why your words caught me by surprise... they were unexpected.

We're good, no worries. I appreciate the note.

John

Cool! Never meant to upset you, Im not that way. But I do have a talent of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, not just here, other places too. I am glad to see the thread restored. If I could have helped you I would have but I had no idea how.

I wasn't aware that the images were gone. You were one of the ones that 'helped' to make me aware of it so I could fix it. So in a weird, back-handed way... thank you?
