I took your advice and returned it to Guitar Center. The new one works! It was the camera all the time and not me being an idiot, thanks for your help JDragon.

Glad to hear it! As you said the vids are crisp and sound is great but the memory they take is huge! I burn mine to DVDr's and play them on the BlueRay to save all the space on my computer- Happy recording! It's a ton of fun- and a helpful critique (that bandmates found- doesn't lie!)...
