Default Slingerland Fade

I know most of us want our drums pristine, and factory fresh, me too, most of the time. But I just bought these as I love the fade, just seem to ooze history.

wonderful, wonderful set of drums. Of all the vintage drums I lust for and admire, the top of my list has always been green sparkle slingerlands, and of course radio kings. I am sure those drums sing. I'll have to post a picture of my set- rewrapped in green sparkle, but my prize possession nonetheless. Please post more when they arrive!!

I'm glad you like them, but I would recover those tubs faster than you can imagine. I couldn't deal with that fading at all, but if you like them, play them in good health for many years.

Really cool set!
Reminds me of a putting green when it gets burned by the sun.
The fade definitely adds "mojo" to the kit.
The kick doesn't look to faded at all.
