Default Sticky glue removal suggestions

I am trying to remove a layer of sticky glue from a pair of 70's Yamaha concert toms. The wrap was split all over and peeled off fairly easily. Some areas have more, thicker glue than others. Any suggestions?

Cool Re: Sticky glue removal suggestions

I recently used Goo Gone to remove double sided tape residue from a shell...It took some time, but, worked great!!

Cheers

If you are still having trouble see if you can find De-Sov-it made by Citrus Technologies International.... don't know where to find as my wife brought it home from a plastics place she worked at.... but that bottle has lasted me a while and has worked wonders....

The local hardware store has an equivalent that I use to remove duct tape residue. Good idea...
