Default Premier Grommet

Hey all, I've had a Premier kit for the past 20 years. It's a 303, early 70's with mahogany shells. It needs a rewrap, but I don't wanna pull the badges off, since it seems I can't find the proper grommets. Anyone know what size?

I have wondered that same thing. I have not found suitable replacements for them and have thus far only determined that I would have to make my own out of aluminum tube. I'll be interested to see if anyone has any better ideas.

I read on a forum, that they're 10mm, like Sonor. I'm gonna order a few and see.

Good Day,

Over here in the auld world a lot of folk use these:

They are infinitesimally larger in the shaft than the badge hole. So enlarge the badge hole slightly and Bob's yr uncle. Here's one in situ:

I have used the 10 mm previously, as the 6½ mm (1/4") are a new item.

10 mm looks like this:

(Click on the picture to get it in mega-size)

I think it works OK on the newer badge than Sparts very tasteful, older kit. BUt why not go for the smaller ones, now they are available?
