We then went to Al Drew’s Music in Woonsocket, RI and finally The Village Drum Shop in North Scituate RI.

What a great day!!!

They hold tours one Thursday a month up to 10 people.
I found out about it on their website and there is a form to sign up.
It was awesome! Lots of drooling! I will post pics later!

WTB 1960s Ludwig gold sparkle toms

I picked up a 22Ē 1968 Ludwig bass drum in gold sparkle with badge 582776.

I am looking for:
- two ride toms (12 & 13?) in gold sparkle with close Badge numbers
- one 16 floor tom in gold...

I think I know why it has a bottom hoop on top!
I was able to attach my sling to one of the slots and carry the drum! Cool1
There is no other carry attached to the drum.

This is a Ludwig late 70s(?) marcher that I bought today for $40. The serial is 1980217.
I only to put snare wires on it.
It has two bottom hoops.

Iím not that familiar with Slingys. Is that the normal placement of the rail mount? Itís seems waaayyy to one side to me.

Does it look like the attach pic?

- 1958-1959 Ludwig Keystone Transition badge. These badges have been found on drums from the 1960's. There is no exact date of when they stopped and switched to...
