The 24" usually had the two sets of spurs.. But Super Rock kit did not have a 12".... It was 13,14,18,24.. as you say will be a worthwhile project..
And yes that outer veneer is mahogany..

You would need to carefully drill a (small) hole through the dead centre of the rivet.. the aim is for the rivet to collapse.. the leftover remnants of the rivet may then be removed with pliers. ...

Yes, as vyacheslav says... drill them out... you need to centre punch dead centre in order to get a start.
I have never had to buy the nylon strapping.. always have had an unused strap leftover...

All of the fibre cases I have seen use Bifurcated rivets,, they are available in many sizes and various material, eg; brass, steel , plated etc.
Various sellers on ebay...

All that you will need...

You need Bifurcated or "split" rivets.. I usually add a flat washer on the inside. Holes in the nylon webbing may be made with a soldering iron. If you are careful in removing the existing rivets you...

I reckon for what it is, the shell is way undersize... It's a stuffed up shell... machined too small.. and with a bad attempt at salvage.. It could be fixed with removal of the lugs and a floating...

I'd advertise the kit for 450 quid... and sell for no less than 400 quid.... someone will want these...
