Using the date they were bought new. Sometimes the set could have been in the store for 2-3 years before purchased. being this is a 6 ply and 3 ply mix makes it a little dear difficult to pin down...

you mean, "why closer to the head".......the Low-Profile die cast hoop on the 2000? or both? I don't think there ever a reason given; maybe to save metal/ use the least metal/ cost..

none but If I had that drumset I would tune it up (that 12...) and play it how it sounds and possibly over time would be able to manipulate it's tone by 'me'. By what you throw at it. Your hands....

Very nice for a New Stamp. Very rare weight for a New Stamp. Not sure the light weight in a New Stamp pays such dividends Soundwise as it would in a IV or III II or I

New Stamps are like that...
