PS

The drums have no re-enforcement rings and the wood grain runs horizontally unlike many of these kits. Not sure if this is good, bad, or meaningless?

Got the kit today. Really pleased. Not bad for $71. Had to buy a front head and had heads for the others. Had to add snares which I had already too. Here are the shots you asked for. When at Guitar...

Here is the kit I picked up for $71 plus shipping.
No idea of what I bought but thought it might pan out.
Tom is 6 lug according to the seller.
I'll need to add a floor later on.

Anyone ever heard of the 'Artist Ltd" brand or know anything about them?
Also, are any of the 60's Japanese drums worth buying and fixing up?

Thanks for the note on the set.
But I'm a bit stunned at what you say they are worth.
They are in good shape with the exception of no matching bass
inlays and a messy seem under the bass...

I just got a 1959-60 Slingerland kit in as similar finish called "Capri Pearl"
It too needs inlays. I was thinking gold sparkle but would silver be better in this case too? Should the inlay reflect...
