Re: What would make this kit worth $4000???

I already reported both the CL ad and the ebay ad earlier......

The guy was supposed to have been born in 1957? Awful young looking foot in that first pic if you ask me.....

Re: What would make this kit worth $4000???

Someone's ebay account was hacked. The seller normally sells Kenner branded action figures and not much else. Odd for a big dollar drum set to be listed among the other items. Definitely a scam...

Re: What would make this kit worth $4000???

Guys....how about this scenario......the guy now selling them is not completely upfront about where he got them (basically telling stories about being the original owner), so he decides to use the...

Re: What would make this kit worth $4000???

Asking price & actual selling price are completely different things. One look on ebay comfirms this.....there are many vintage drums offered for sale there for outrageous money, but when you look at...

Re: Recognise this Ludwig SNARE, please..?

Re: Recognise this Ludwig SNARE, please..?

What this is, is a Ludwig Accent series snare drum from the late 90's/early 2000's. It is an import, and it is a steel shell drum. Not very good sound or quality to it. It was their budget/entry...

Re: Recognise this Ludwig SNARE, please..?

Re: Beverley 22" Ride

 Beverley, Krut, Paiste/Ludwig Standard, Zyn NON-5-Star, Paiste Stambul, are all nickle-silver alloy.....and to me they all sound pretty bad. Most are gongy and harsh and these are the thin...

Re: Ludwig Atlas tom mount and vintage 3 ply Sligerland shells

Not to throw a monkey wrench in here, but what about using a RIMS type of mount? Cheaper than the Atlas mount, more flexible too because you can fit any type of mount to it from practically any brand...
