Calling All Ludwig Experts: Help Identifying an Unusual Pre-serial Number LM400 Snare

I’m not sure what this is. It’s pre-serial number (badge grommet looks good), has crimped snare beds, but does not have double-flanged bearing edges. The hoops are COB according to the magnet test....
