Re: When is a cymbal classed as vintage?

Thanks for the replies. As an example, I was thinking about one of my older rides, a 20" K Custom Dry I bought new around 1995. There are brand new versions of this model with the newer style...

Re: Vintage 20" Paiste 602 Thin Ride

Thanks for that ebay link. It appears not to be for sale now. Don't know if he sold it or listing ended. I have to say, 180 is a bit disappointing. I really thought we'd be talking double that for...

Re: Vintage 20" Paiste 602 Thin Ride

Actually the bathroom scales method proved not accurate enough. It needs a minimum weight of a few kg before it will even show a reading. So what I did...

Vintage 20" Paiste 602 Thin Ride

Re: Correctly dating Yamaha 9000 RC series RF

Thanks for the info Joao3208. I still don't understand then why the serial numbers, according to the Yamaha dating page are giving dates before 1984.

Hello all. I've owned/still own a set of Cherrywood Yamaha 9000 Recording Customs (RF series with deeper shells) from new since about 1992. I always thought they were made in the 1990s but according...
