I picked up a set cheap for a back line set to be used as the main kit for a benifit and they sounded great and everyone loved the sound . The wrap actually came of easily ( was COW) and the rivets...

Yes that is a nice drum, I have a Rocker snare that I had painted Candy Apple and has those lugs and it looks great. If it's not broke don't fix it.

I have a set I ordered in November of 76' and the snare was 155xxxx and the rest of the drums were 158xxxx. I also have one from 1973 that are numbered 130xxxx.

Here is one for you.
The Revival kit #1-5 natural satin and gold.
They were known for the 16 x 14 floor and the double hoop inlays on some kits.
I am thinking 60’s when RGB started making them...
