Hi folks, I have 2 vintage Bass hoops with WMP inlay. They're both in need of a touch up of black paint. Any suggestions on what to use? Gloss, matte, water based, oil etc.

Thank you. The split was glued and it dried not completely together. It dried open like it's shown in photo. If I add glue I don't think it will close unless I remove existing dried glue. Should I...

I need to replace bottom hoop on my 13" mounted tom on my 1960's Slingerland. Is there a big difference in using a chrome over steel hoop as opposed to a chrome hoop? Is there even a difference?...

Thank you, so you're saying that the part is missing off of the strainer and not the actual drum? Do I need to replace the entire strainer? or can I find the missing part? Sorry, this is all new to...
