I would say late sixties on them
and I sure agree that the Star and Pearl versions of Slingerland cloned lugs
especially the bass drum lugs are hard to tell apart
if memory serves even the hole...

they built some cool MIJ kits and a good amount of marching snare drums

The tiger's eye pearl finish is more collectable for sure and absolutely one of my favorites.

But IMO the wristwatch lugged C.B. 700 kits...
