This has happened to me before. I now run a razor along both sides of the inlay wrap before I peel off the tape.
Thanks for the comments on my build. I went back and forth on the natural or black...

Once I had seen how the Natural hoops looked with the lighter Citrus Mod wrap, the choice was made. The clear satin finish on natural maple is very complementary....at least to me.

Citrus is so refreshing...;)
I went with Citrus because there are not that many out there, and I have always liked that wrap. I get more comments (good ones) on that one kit than any other I have...
