Appreciate all the great feed back, and after 50 yrs of playing, I found out you can indeed repair a 2 ply head..if necessary. I agree that you should buy a new one, but when one splits on the job,...

Glue has developed into the space age where you can stick anything to anything.

Do you think a 2 ply with a split in one layer can successfully be glued back to being playable?

vintage 6 lug Premier?

I was not aware that they offered a lug in the 50-60,s, I know Olympic was offered but not Premier.

Did they make a 6 lugger wood Prem in the 50,s?

Removing Oly wrap?

Do any of you have experience removing wrap from the early 70,s Olympic mahogany shells?
Some I hear are harder than others, but im not happy with the current finish and the kit is basically a back...

Beside Sonor, Rogers are the best imo.
