Re: Camco sighting "Fanny" circa 1972

Cool find, thanks never heard of them
She has an original walnut set with what looks like a 2nd Ludwig blue sparkle floor.
Nice, if this is in 1971 probably a Chanute set.

Re: Camco

Rims do not look correct.
The drums look like they have been stripped including the chrome on the lugs.
Legs are not original Camco legs either.

Re: Kit I.D. Help (Please)

From what I can see looks like a Rocker2 due to inside shell coating.
Also U.S.A. made (the badge says USA on it)
That’s usually how you can tell.
Something weird about that bass drum to me...

Re: Ludwig Snare ID Help...

I think if it has 12 lugs it would be the Coliseum.
If not could be the Rock/Concert model
the date is correct 84ish like K.O. mentions.
can't tell by pics if 12 lugs.

Re: Camco drumset

Camco was associated with Rogers in the 50's and 60's.
The catalogs had Camco hardware in them.
In my opinion I do think Camco were built better in the same era.
I have a late 50's Rogers which I...

Re: Camco drumset

the quality of build , edges and lack of mass production of the Camco's I think make them valuable, also the unique sound.
Notable players: Jim Gordan (John Lennon, George Harrison, Eric Clapton...
