I had a 50$ Torodor set that was a ball for awhile "on the side"... until I realized they were flexible (in the not good sense) and hardly "professional" on stage and in a Room. A Good Outside damp...

I think it's suckers boosting the image of early MIJ drums that raise the price; the dealers are just taking advantage. If no fuss was made over them online and elsewhere; if just remained quiet...
