Hi,
I bought a Ludwig set in '66 and it came with what appears to be the same wrench. It was in a little white muslin bag that was supposed to hang from the kit, I guess.

I found the answer buried deep in the forum pages. No badge or airholes in Slingerland toms until late in 63.

I am looking at a Slingerland (?) floor tom. There is no air hole and so no badge. A different set of leg mounts were put on and you can see on the wrap the outline of the old Slingerland shaped...
