I recently watchedcan episode of Austin City Limits. The drummer for BECK was playing a single-headed kit. They sounded fantastic.

Old Ludwig & Ludwig decal

Acquired an old 1920s 28" bass drum that had this attached inside the shell. Was this common forcall of their drums back then? Ive never seen this before.113765

Any Ludwig Vistalite experts out there......

I just picked up a 1970s BIG BEAT kit in 'smoke' Vistalite. The original hoops have white cortex inlays. Was this the common inlay color for these drums? They just look funny.

5.5X14 Very pretty drum.The picture doesn't do it justice. Not a hint of fading at all.
