Re: Gotta love the old Zildjian bags.

The info and discussions are here right now. And the pics are here and will be increasing. Think of this as being like Cymbalholic minus the B.S. threads like "What are you working on now?", or...

Re: Type I,II,III old K s

check this out: my new invention

This is the very latest. It's the hi-hat mounted crash cymbal. I'm expecting this to become the latest trend to hit the drumming world in decades! And it's ready to sweep the drumming world from...

Re: mystery cymbal

To get thin yet with stick is a difficult combination arrive at. The profile is hammered up a bit more. Remember when we were talking about thin cymbals with umbrella profiles? It's a very touchy...

Re: Type II Trans stamp

I never saw it online either. I think with some of the primo cymbals they just wait for someone to walk in and buy. The primo cymbals can just walk out of the shop like this one did, so why waste the...

Re: New Stamp Old Ks

Anyway I was there, but for some reason I actually don't remember the 70's AT ALL. And I used to know why, but I forgot that too.

Re: New Stamp Old Ks

O.K. that's good. But I never let my cymbals make their own decisions decisions on how they want to be oriented. In fact I mount them in exactly the opposite of what they would naturally want to be...

Re: New Stamp Old Ks

Now the trick is to get the cymbal to stay in the preferred orientation so the sweet spot is always where you want it. I do this by using a rubber cymbal rest. That way the cymbal can't re-adjust its...

Re: New Stamp Old Ks

There were umbrella profiled cymbals to be found in the type IIIb period. I had one 22" and there was at least one other I have seen. Same thing for a few 18" I've seen. But in any era it seems that...
