My thought is if you do refinish the interiors it might effect the value of them and mod orange is hard one to find.

Best stand for 6.5" snares?

Seems like the Ludwig stands I have do not go low enough for 6.5" deep snare drum. I like my snare at about 25" high. Any suggestions?

I agree, drums are much harder to play, at least for me. I don't play either instrument very well but the drums do seem to be more challenging.
