I measured the toms and they are 13" and 14" with the 28" bass. :) This set is so cool.

Ok .... I did clean the logo area, and WOW will this clean up like new. There is a crown. Underneath the crown it reads Victor then below that a J then Lapage co. then it reads Turkishstyle cymbal...

I found a stamp on the hi hats .. I can make out Turkish cymbals made in USA The name I can't really make out. It looks like it begnis with a T??? maybe a slight cleaning of the stamp is in order to...

Big Daddy is right. The kick drum, as I've always known it when being mic'ed up, is a very old and pretty much now an industry standard name for the bass drum. The rack tom, well I found that varies...

Thanks Ploughman!! No extra holes or filled holes anywhere on the set. So was this a combination of maple/mahogany or does the mahogany actually have that maple look to it? I take it these are crap...

I just picked up a Rogers kit, 12,13,16,22 non matching 14" snare. I believe thi smay be from the early to mid 80's. (maybe beyond) Here's the problem. I can clearly see maple on the interior shells...

When you say white spirit, do you mean mineral spirits? Paint remover/thinner type?? I use WD40 as it works wonders and is not harsh like most solvents some use. WD40 will remove almost any adhesive...
