They would go in between the throwoff and the shell then. Have seen many original drums like this.

If you only have two washers, they should go inside the shell and then the retaining nuts which should have a made in lock washer. On some Supras, Ludwig did have washers between the shell and the...

OldSchool-your observation on the lugs is right on track. The Wfl lugs are indeed more rounded on the edges compared to the Ludwig bowties. Good eye!

This is a very nice Ludwig 1123 Spur-Lok hi hat stand. Made for a short time in the mid 60's, this is the only model that uses the Spur-Lok pedal and is still a flat based stand. Ringo used one!...

1160082 does fit in the update serial number guides as a '73 issue. Rick Gier's Serial Number Based Dating Guides for Vintage Ludwig Drums will confirm this as well.
